Lin Wood Becomes Left-Wing Media Darling After Turning on Right-Wing Critics

'I have reached the conclusion that the Stop the Steal organization is a Deep State organization...'

Lin Wood, who briefly represented Kyle Rittenhouse, has turned against several one-time allies and accused them of working for the Deep State, Rolling Stone reported.

Wood changed his tone because Rittenhouse, in an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson after the not-guilty verdict, called him “insane.”

Rittenhouse said Wood had “taken advantage” of him, left him in prison for months despite having raised bail funds, and then pocketed the money for himself.

Soon after, Wood accused Carlson of having a “buddy-buddy” relationship with Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s son.

“Birds of a feather flock together. Just sayin’,” Wood posted.

To prove the allegation, he posted a screenshot on Telegram that allegedly shows a friendly conversation between Carlson and Hunter from 2014.

The screenshots show that Carlson asked Hunter to write a letter of recommendation for his son, Buckley, to help him get into Georgetown University.

Neither Carlson nor Hunter have confirmed or denied the email exchange’s authenticity.

Another email exchange between the two from 2015 apparently shows Carlson once again trying to peddle Hunter’s influence.

Buckley never attended Georgetown University. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2019 with a degree in political science.

Wood also said that he plans to sue Fox News and Carlson, who he recently claimed works for the Deep State.

“Oh, and when I sue Tucker Carlson and Fox and take Old Tucker Boy’s sworn testimony upon cross examination, I will be sure to ask him ALL about his ‘buddy buddy’ relationship of years with HUNTER BIDEN!!!” Wood wrote on Telegram on Nov. 2.

“Wonder if Tucker will be a ‘ghost’ no show for his deposition like some other false accusers have been in recent months,” Wood wrote. “Some people hate to face the truth. Especially under penalty of perjury. Watch it happen. I will keep you posted!!!”

He plans to sue for defamation in relation to the Rittenhouse interview, which he said contains “undeniably FALSE” accusations against him.

Wood had a cozy relationship with the pro-Trump and anti-establishment right when he represented Nicholas Sandmann in his defamation lawsuits against CNN and the Washington Post.

That relationship continued when he led the Stop the Steal campaign alongside attorney Sidney Powell and General Michael Flynn.

After Rittenhouse questioned Wood’s motives, he turned against Flynn, Powell, radio host Sebastian Gorka, who briefly served as Trump’s Deputy Assistant, and anyone else associated with the Stop the Steal campaign.

“After doing the research and connecting the dots,” Wood posted on Telegram on Nov. 3, “I have reached the conclusion that the Stop the Steal organization is a Deep State organization to raise money for purposes other than to FIX 2020. … WATCH OUT for anyone affiliated with Stop the Steal. Every lie will be revealed.”

Several Republicans, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., and Gorka, accepted Rittenhouse’s claims against Wood.

Gorka called Wood a “sleazball” in a tweet.
