Kevin McCarthy’s RINO Roommate Says Republicans Are ‘Mocking’ Trump

'I don’t know a single Republican who was surprised by what Sununu said. He said what they were thinking... '

(Headline USA) RINO pollster Frank Luntz claimed in a recent interview that Republicans privately mock former President Donald Trump while publicly expressing their loyalty to him.

Luntz said Republican New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu summed up how Republicans feel about the former president.

“He’s f***ing crazy,” Sununu said at the Gridiron Club’s annual dinner, which is known for its roasts of politicians and other public figures.

“I don’t think he’s so crazy that you could put him in a mental institution,” Sununu allegedly continued. “But I think if he were in one, he ain’t getting out.”

Luntz said the roast was “significant” because that’s what a lot of other Republicans think.

“I don’t know a single Republican who was surprised by what Sununu said. He said what they were thinking,” Luntz told the far-left Daily Beast. “They won’t say it [in public], but behind his back, they think he’s a child. They’re laughing at him.”

The breaking point for many Republicans has been Trump’s refusal to move on from the 2020 election, he claimed.

“Even many Republicans are tired of going back and rehashing the 2020 election,” Luntz claimed. “Everybody else has moved on and in Washington everyone believes he lost the election.”

Sununu has insisted his comments about Trump were just “a joke.”

“It’s all a joke. Look, I don’t think he’s crazy. It’s all a joke,” Sununu said.

“It’s all in fun, it’s all a joke, and anyone who’s trying to make this to be more than it is either seriously doesn’t understand what the Gridiron dinner is all about or just has to, you know, like I said, lighten up a little bit, get a sense of humor,” he added.

Trump, however, is sure to feel differently, since he has already expressed disapproval with Sununu. Back in February, Trump allegedly told his advisers that he wants someone to run against Sununu.

“The president is very unhappy with the chief executive officer of the state of New Hampshire, Chris Sununu,” Corey Lewandowski, who served as Trump’s campaign manager in 2016, said.

“And Sununu, in the president’s estimation, is someone who’s never been loyal to him. And the president said it would be really great if somebody would run against Chris Sununu.”

Luntz, once a trusted fixture on Fox News, also has come under serious aspersion after a series of damning revelations—many of them aired by leading Fox host Tucker Carlson.

Among those were that Luntz is paid by well-heeled clients such as Google to falsely represent and/or attempt to manipulate Republican attitudes.

Most recently, he worked with the Biden administration in an effort to persuade vaccine-hesitant individuals to subject themselves to the experimental shots by making it seem as if it was a popular GOP position.

Despite his unsavory ethics, Luntz has the ear of powerful politicians on both sides of the aisle.

The laptop abandoned by Hunter Biden contained correspondence with Luntz, who was a college friend of his brother, Beau.

Even more peculiar, however, is Luntz’s relationshipw with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif.

According to a May 2021 report by Carlson, McCarthy, 57, is the 60-year-old Lutz’s roommate, although neither man is openly gay.

The relationship led Trump to wonder aloud during an interview with The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway.

“Uh, that Luntz thing is weird, right? What’s that all about?” Trump asked.

“I don’t think it’s a romance. I think it’s just, they know each other or something,” he continued, according to Hemingway. “I can’t imagine. I don’t think—I mean, if you’re thinking it—but it is weird. … You know, we’re past the age of roommates. You don’t do that.”
