Biden Shared Negative Article About Hillary w/ Friends, Family

'Interesting...'

(Headline USA) President Joe Biden sent a critical article about Hillary Clinton to some of his close friends and family members during the 2016 election cycle, shortly after he opted against running, according to the New York Post.

In an email obtained from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop, the president wrote “Interesting” in a subject line and included a link to a column published by RealClear Politics.

The column, written by University of Chicago political science professor Charles Lipson, argued that Clinton’s 2016 campaign was on “treacherous” ground due to the FBI’s investigation into her private email server.

Lipson said it was “clear that CIA and FBI investigators already fear an administration whitewash and have leaked damaging information to the press.”

At the time, Biden was former President Barack Obama’s vice president and had already ruled out a run for the presidency.

He sent the story to Hunter; his wife, Jill; and two of his top aides, Mike Donilon and Steve Ricchetti. He also sent it to his sister, Valerie Biden Owens; and his brother Jim; along with two of Hunter Biden’s daughters, Naomi and Finnegan Biden.

In July 2016, Comey recommended against prosecuting Clinton for using her private email server to handle classified materials, calling her behavior “extremely careless,” but not worthy of criminal charges.

Clinton has repeatedly blamed Comey for her loss.

“There are lots of reasons why an election like this is not successful,” she said back in 2016. “But our analysis is that Jim Comey’s letter raising doubts that were groundless [and] baseless—and proven to be—stopped our momentum.”

Emails obtained from Hunter Biden’s laptop have come under scrutiny once again after it was reported by the New York Times and the Washington Post that federal officials had confirmed its authenticity.
