(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) As Democrats in Congress continue their January 6 show trials, Blaze Media talk show host Steve Deace shared the text of a letter he received from a “January Sixther” regarding the treatment J6 defendants have received both as they await sentencing, and in federal prison.
I am going to post a note here I received this morning from a January Sixther. I will post it without comment. Feel free to read it and then come to your own conclusions:

In the letter, the soon-to-be-imprisoned man — “I am a J6er and I am going to prison” –accused the Biden administration of forcing defendants to plead guilty and sign exaggerated confessions in order to avoid the absurd prison sentences dished out by D.C. Democrat judges and juries.
“I am a husband and father who has zero criminal history, and I am looking at years in prison AFTER I took a plea,” the defendant wrote to Deace. “I was threatened with 20 years in prison, something only murderers face.”
“So, at the pleading of my wife, the extreme bias of DC and it’s (sic) ‘jury pool of my peers’ and advice from my lawyer, I destroyed a part of me and signed a paper full of exaggerations, lies and more importantly a narrative that fits what they want,” he continued.
The defendant’s letter offered an important window into the forces the deep state has arrayed against ordinary Americans and their way of life.
“January 6th should be remembered as the last outburst from people who were sick of the coups against Trump,” he wrote. “We are no longer free . . . and this country WAS taken without firing a single shot.”
“The lies about Russia gate, the double standard of the Bidens and how they obtained their wealth . . . of the BLM rioters . . . the forced LGBTQ pumped into our children,” he continued.
The man concluded his letter by lamenting the plight of his wife and of his children, who he will no longer be able to raise.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen to my family while I’m gone for years,” he wrote. “I hope [my wife] and my kids can make it without me.”
The man’s experience is not unique.
At American Greatness, reporter Julie Kelly has been documenting the mistreatment of J6 detainees like Ethan Nordean, who as of April 2022 had spent 13 months in solitary confinement in a D.C. jail for a nonviolent J6 offense.
Democrats have politicized and weaponized America’s justice system to unjustly place Jan. 6 defendants in the D.C. prison system.
D.C. is refusing to address the abuse, solitary confinement, and horrid conditions for dozens of individuals.
