Obama Plans to Install Giant Propane Tanks at Martha’s Vineyard

Propane combustion produces numerous waste products such as particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides...

(Pamela Cosel, Headline USA) In another elitist move, former President Barack Obama is having three giant propane tanks installed at his palatial Martha’s Vineyard property.

During times of high gasoline prices and people struggling to make ends meet, it’s another move by the wealthy pair, as Obama and his wife, Michelle, seemingly intend to hoard for their needs.

The combined total of the tanks will contain 2,500 gallons of propane, as noted on the application submitted to the Town of Edgartown Selectboard. Minutes from the June 6, 2022, meeting show that the application from Star Propane was unanimously approved to allow burial in the ground of the giant tanks at 79 Turkeyland Cove.

It is the first time the town has received an application for a private propane tank, selectboard member Arthur Smadbeck told the MV Times.

Propane prices are lower than the national and regional averages, at just $2.91 per gallon for residential customers, reported MV Times.

One post on Twitter asked why the Obamas are installing a $75,000 commercial tank on their property, questioning whether the former president knows something the general public doesn’t.

The post also questioned why the former First Couple weren’t installing solar panels or windmills, given the prevailing leftist agenda to kill fossil fuel production and use.

“Propane combustion produces numerous waste products such as particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, nitrous oxide, carbon monoxide, greenhouse gas, methane and non-methane overall organic carbon,” reported the Daily Caller.

On the flip side, a coalition of House Republicans introduced a plan earlier this month via the Energy, Climate and Conservation Task Force to help curb greenhouse gas emissions.

Apparently Obama has forgotten about the Clean Air Act he signed in 2015, as he moves to install his own private stash of fuel in the ground at his $11.75 million mansion.
