Gingrich Tells GOP What to Do to Ensure Red Wave Is a Tsunami

'The American people will repudiate high inflation, fuel prices, and food costs... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich advised Republicans to capitalize on President Joe Biden‘s failures in order to guarantee a sweeping victory in the upcoming midterm elections, the Washintgon Times reported.

According to Gingrich, Americans will respond to the dismal failures of the Democrats in power across America, especially those leaders in major urban centers.

“An American tidal wave is coming based on big, nationalized congressional campaigns. The American people will repudiate high inflation, fuel prices, and food costs,” he wrote.

“They will reject the unchecked border and skyrocketing murder rates (which are up 37 percent in New York City and 34 percent in Chicago).”

Gingrich also noted the backlash that will come as a result of woke ideologies being forced onto the general public.

“And they are sick of relentless values assaults over race, sexuality, and the nature of America.”

Republicans, in his view, must make this race about America, not narrow party interests.

“If this big election tsunami is going to materialize into what could be the worst Democrat Party repudiation since 1920, Republicans need to understand two things: First, this is an American Majority – not a Republican Majority or a Conservative Majority,” Gingerich continued.

“Americans of all ethnic and partisan backgrounds are coming together to reject unsustainable pain for their families, communities, and our free society.”

A failure to recognize the need to appeal to Americans as such doomed the Democrats in 2020, in which the expected “blue wave” actually turned out largely in the Republicans’ favor, despite widespread fraud.

In order to avoid a similar failure, Republicans must form what Gingrich called the “New American Majority,” which means working with “people who have not historically been part of the Republican party.”

For Republicans, this means speaking to issues that affect a wide spread of people in clear ways, not dwelling at length on small matters.

“Irrelevant, trivial noise and niche issues are the enemies of growing a majority. Clarity, consistency, and firmness of purpose are the keys to attracting, educating, and holding together a New American Majority,” he concluded.
