SHOCK: CNN’s Brian Stelter Abandons Biden over Hunter-Gate Probe

'This is not just a right-wing media story. This is a real problem for the Bidens...'

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) With their own credibility—and, in some cases, jobs—on the line, leftist media figures including notoriously obsequious CNN host Brian Stelter are desperate for an offramp in their unwavering support for President Joe Biden.

Even as they publicly declare a Biden administration “victory lap” over the killing of a top Al Qaeda terrorist harbored by the Taliban in Afghanistan and the passage of a significantly diminished (but still economy-wrecking) version of the “Build Back Better” plan, CNN cronies are secretly trying to save face and rehabilitate their damaged perception.

On the Sunday broadcast of his Reliable Sources, Stelter openly questioned the prospects of Biden’s professed 2024 run during an interview with Jill Biden’s former press secretary, Michael LaRosa, the Conservative Brief reported.

“I hope he runs. I know he’s going to run, he’s planning to run,” LaRosa said, growing angry with Democrats who want the party to go in another direction.

Stelter immediately brought up Hunter Biden, acknowledging outright the long-suppressed truth about the philanderer, alleged traitor and crack addict.

“What about his son? What about Hunter?” Stelter asked.

“Hunter under federal investigation, charges could be coming at any time,” he continued. “This is not just a right-wing media story. This is a real problem for the Bidens. Could he decide not to run for re-election, given his son?”

LaRosa dodged the question, though he did not deny that Hunter Biden could damage Sleepy Joe’s 2024 odds.

“They make decisions as a family, and they will make that decision when it’s time,” he said.

Unwilling to stop there, Stelter pressed on, hoping to draw out some details about the president’s thoughts on his son’s scandalous conduct.

“Do you think they’ve talked about it yet?” the host said.

“No,” LaRosa said. “The president is doing his job and he’s doing his work. He’s not focused on that. It’s 19 months! Why would he do that?”
