Evidence Reveals Antifa’s Attempts to Infiltrate Trump Protest, Lead Role in US Capitol Siege

UPDATE: The Viking-clad individual suspected of being one of the Antifa infiltrators present during the breach of the US Capitol has been identified as Jake Angeli of Phoenix, Ariz.

Reports noted that Angeli is frequently seen at rallies, including Black Lives Matter events and Trump rallies, often carrying signs that promote the far-right QAnon theory.

Angeli described himself as a “multi-dimensional or hyper dimensional being” who can “see into these other higher dimensions that these entities—these pedophiles, these rapists, these really high up people … that they can almost hide in the shadows in,” The Independent reported.

It is unclear whether he was one of the men initially identified by facial recognition software as being part of a Philadelphia chapter of Antifa.

As evidence and accounts of Antifa’s involvement began to emerge, other videos from Wednesday’s protest in Washington, DC, showed Trump supporters trying to prevent vandals from breaking out windows in the US Capitol.

While much has yet to be understood about the insurrection at the Capitol, the protests outside of it—with hundreds of thousands of Trump-backers standing in opposition to widespread vote fraud in the Nov. 3, 2020 election—appear to have been largely peaceful.

Surveillance footage showed that even those entering the Capitol after it had been breached respectfully filed through statuary hall, which links the two congressional chambers, in an orderly line.

Meanwhile, visual evidence and eyewitness accounts linked Antifa members to the destruction at the Capitol.

Posts from Antifa groups prior to the event encouraged them to infiltrate it undercover.

“On Nov. 4 don’t forget to disguise yourselves as patriots/Trump supporters,” said a social media reminder from one Antifa chapter, according to the Village News.

“Wear MAGA hats. USA flags,” it continued. “A convincing police uniform is even better. This way police and patriots responding to US won’t know who their enemies are and onlookers and the media will think there are Trump supporters rioting so it’s harder to turn popular opinion against us.”

Despite the efforts to deceive, most Trump supporters did not appear to buy it.

Accounts surfaced that “MAGA” supporters had pulled violent and destructive rioters away from the Capitol, reported the Gateway Pundit.

A Twitter post by user @emmbeliever showed video where a handful of individuals appear to be preventing a solitary bad actor from breaking windows in the Capitol.

The post says they were able to prevent it for the time but that the vandals returned later.

In another video, a black-clad rioter appears to be pounding on the glass with a billy club as a throng of onlookers yells and chants “Don’t break the windows.”

During the chaotic takeover, evidence quickly emerged showing that some of the more attention-grabbing figures on the scene had been present at earlier rallies linked to radical leftist groups like Black Lives Matter.

Among them was a bare-chested man clad in Viking garb (despite the cold weather) who appeared on the front page of globalist publications such as Germany’s Hamburger Morgenpost.

At one point, widely circulated footage showed him among those seated at the House dais reserved for the presiding officer, where Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Vice President Mike Pence had opened the joint session of Congress just a few hours earlier.

Conservative lawyer Lin Wood was among those who noticed and retweeted a post showing a familiar face at a June BLM rally in Arizona.

The day’s biggest confirmation came from a Washington Times report that facial-recognition firm XRVision had verified the presence of two Philadelphia Antifa members at the scene.

In addition to the Viking-clad man, an accomplice notably had a tattoo of a hammer and sickle, the Times reported.

The newspaper cited as its source a retired military specialist who had shared with it the photographic evidence.

Notwithstanding the suspicious circumstances linking both men to leftist causes, XRVision later denied the story, claiming the men were, in fact, tied to the Skinheads and the National Socialist Movement (neo-Nazis).

The original Times report—referenced on the US House floor Wednesday by Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla.—appeared to have been taken down on Thursday.

But conservative media sources offered additional evidence of an Antifa presence, including the firsthand accounts of independent journalist Tayler Hansen.

Hansen supplied some of the most graphic images of the day, including the killing of Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt.

He has previously done undercover work exposing Antifa riots in places like Portland and Seattle, and he was able to identify one of its members—Utah-based activist John Sullivan—from those past encounters, the Gateway Pundit reported.

The Gateway Pundit later confirmed Hansen’s reporting, linking Sullivan to a video where he threatened to “rip Trump from the White House.”

Mainstream media falsely claimed that the allegations of an Antifa infiltration at the event were baseless conspiracy theories—ignoring both the advance intelligence warning of such an attempt and evidence afterward that confirmed it.

Bizarrely, the New York Times sought both to deny that Antifa is an organized group and, simultaneously, to refute—without any exculpatory evidence—the allegations that stray members of this diffuse “collective” might have infiltrated the protest and committed the acts of vandalism and violence.
