Rep. Byron Donalds: Biden Playing ‘Catch Me If You Can’ on Vax Mandate

'He knows what he is doing is wrong. He already said before—he doesn’t have the legal authority to do it—but he’s doing it anyway...'

Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., argued that President Joe Biden implemented and enforced the unconstitutional vaccine mandate—with full knowledge that it would eventually be struck down—in order to garner compliance, the Epoch Times reported.

“Joe Biden knows this. He knows it’s unconstitutional,” Donalds said, referring to the vax mandate during an interview last week with the New Tang Dynasty’s Capital Report.

Donalds pointed to Biden’s admission that he has little legal authority to unilaterally create such a mandate.

Last year, Biden told reporters, “I don’t think it should be mandatory. I wouldn’t demand it to be mandatory.”

“What he’s doing is playing ‘catch me if you can’ with the United States Constitution,” Donalds said. “He knows what he is doing is wrong. He already said before—he doesn’t have the legal authority to do it—but he’s doing it anyway.”

Jen Psaki, Biden’s press secretary, has defended the administration’s obvious contradictions on the grounds that it is the government’s role to force citizens into being big pharma guinea pigs.

“Obviously, information, data evolves, and the steps we need to take to address—to get
the virus under control, to help people return to normal—has to evolve as well,” Psaki said before rebuking the American people for not bowing to Moderna and other pharmaceutical giants.

“The reason we’re here is because people have not gotten vaccinated—80 million of them—
not because of any other reason,” Psaki continued. “So, what our objective is—from the
federal government—is to continue to take bold and ambitious steps to get more people
vaccinated and protect more people.”

Donalds concluded the interview by warning about the direction of the Democratic party.

“That is what the modern Democrat Party is,” he suggested, alluding to the vax mandates. “It is absolutely wrong. It’s unconstitutional. And that’s what the court is going to find.”
