Dems Plotted Same 2020 Elector Plan Now Being Prosecuted in Michigan

'Podesta and the TIP simulation squad specifically plotted their state elector switcheroo IN MICHIGAN...'

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced charges on Tuesday against 16 Republicans for attempting to file Republican electoral votes in 2020—accusing them of secretly meeting in the basement of the Michigan GOP headquarters and signing certificates that falsely claimed they were the duly elected representatives for the state.

But the allegations described by Nessel were strikingly similar to a plan Democrats had for 2020—one they intended to implement in Michigan, no less.

This Democratic plan was revealed by Mike Benz, a Trump-era State Department official who now heads the Foundation For Online Freedom. Benz recently posted internal plans from the Transition Integrity Project, an organization of election “experts” that includes White House Deputy Chief of Staff and former Hillary Clinton campaign manager John Podesta.

TIP’s work was highlighted leading up to the 2020 election, with outlets such as NPR reporting in July 2020 that the group had been “gaming out a frightening scenario: What if the loser in this year’s presidential election doesn’t concede?”

Such a scenario was envisioned in Michigan, according to the internal TIP document posted online by Benz.

That internal document described a scenario where Trump won the electoral college in 2020, but Biden had a commanding 52% of the popular vote. Accordingly, Democrat governors in closely contested states, including Michigan, would call for recounts.

“As the game developed, governors in two of the three (Wisconsin and Michigan) sent separate slates of electors to counter those sent by the state legislators,” the TIP document states—mimicking a scenario now being painted as a criminal conspiracy by Michigan’s attorney general.

Benz said the TIP/Podesta plan is “100 times worse than anything the Justice Department is alleging the Trump faction did.”

“And yes, I know technically it was the Michigan AG’s office, not the DOJ, who brought the charges,” Benz added. “But that’s NOT ANY BETTER. Podesta and the TIP simulation squad specifically plotted their state elector switcheroo IN MICHIGAN.”

The severe charges in Michigan, celebrated by anti-Trump critics, have drawn sharp criticism from concerned Republican leaders who believe it is merely a witch hunt intended to tarnish former President Donald Trump and his supporters.

“Check the ages. Michigan’s Democrat machine is targeting retirees. The average age of the defendants is north of 70. This is designed to eliminate the most experienced Republican poll watches,” In a separate Twitter post, conservative commentator Mike Cernovich said in wake of the charges.

“The Bolsheviks have returned.”
