(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) Democrats and their allies in the electioneering sector have come up with a new rhetorical ploy for dealing with critiques of their Zuckerberg-funded shenanigans.
The plan is to accuse watchdog groups of filing “frivolous” complaints and then lawfare judges and agencies to fine or otherwise punish them. Just the News reported on two recent examples in Wisconsin and Washington.
In Wisconsin, where Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg poured tens of millions into “fortifying” the 2020 election, the notorious Washington Elections Commission has fined a data analyst for filing “frivolous complaints,” Just the News reported.
Peter Bernegger, data analyst for the Wisconsin Center for Election Justice, was fined thousands of dollars in April 2022 for demanding action on at least 30 election irregularities in the state.
“The system is completely defective,” Bernegger said. “I told them that, and they hit me with a fine for filing a frivolous complaint.”
In Washington, a state supreme court judge has ordered the Washington Election Integrity Coalition United to also pay thousands of dollars for having the temerity to make what the state attorney general called “frivolous arguments,” Just the News reported.
The WEICU accused Washington Gov. Jay Inslee of “allowing or encouraging the state Department of Licensing to register noncitizens to vote,” according to the Seattle Times.
After a judge ruled in his favor, AG Bob Ferguson claimed that “those who attack our democracy and abuse our legal system must face accountability” and he committed his office to fighting what partisan Democrats continue to call “the Big Lie.”
Ferguson has also filed a bar complaint against WEICU lawyer Virginia Shogren with the Washington state Supreme Court’s Office of Disciplinary Counsel.
The message pro-Trump conservatives throughout the country are getting is that any questioning of the 2020 election results is evidence of thought crime, and the Left will stop at nothing in pursuit of their jobs and their freedom.
