(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) President Joe Biden, who campaigned against former President Donald Trump’s cruel immigration policies, will oversee the “deadliest year by far” at America’s southern border with about 800 migrant deaths, Just the News reported.
“When you look at the last year prior to President Biden taking office, the most deaths we ever had was a little over 300,” said Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council.
“Now we’re right at 800. It’s the most dangerous situation we’ve ever seen by far, and I’m going to go back to the point that Democrats do not care.”
Just the News editor John Solomon hosted a special report with border security experts, like former acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf, and Republican congressional candidates to discuss the humanitarian and criminal crises that open borders create.
As the fiscal year ends on Sept. 30, Heritage Action for America seeks to bring attention to the startling immigration crisis in its special “On the Ballot, Open Borders.”
“It’s not only a humanitarian crisis — we have a security crisis going on down there,” said Wolf, who served under Trump.
The Biden administration has attracted more than 2 million illegal aliens to cross the border so far this year, leading to record deaths—and the border agents fail to record many deaths that occur undetected in the open desert.
“There’s not a lot of publican attention being focused on it,” Wolf said. “There are more and more migrants dying in that desert and on that river than ever before because of the policies of this administration.”
Arizona Republican Senate candidate Blake Masters, who has made immigration enforcement a central issue in his campaign, said he supports an all-of-the-above approach, including a border wall, more agents and more technology, to stop illegal immigration.
He praised Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for revealing the Left’s “champagne socialism and left-wing hypocrisy” regarding illegal immigration.
“The Martha’s Vineyard wealthy Democratic elite couldn’t even bear to have these illegal aliens sharing their island for 24 hours,” Masters said. “They mobilized the National Guard and deported them immediately.
