(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Four unnamed business associates of the Biden family are reportedly cooperating with House Oversight Committee’s investigation into the actions of both President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
According to Breitbart, committee chair Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., is investigating the family for nine separate alleged violations, including money laundering and wire fraud.
“We are in communication with four former Biden family business associates,” Comer confirmed. “They are cooperating with our investigation. And I will tell you it’s very concerning.”
The probe has subpoenaed several records from banks the Bidens are associated with, as well as demanding cooperation from the family’s known associates.
Comer did not reveal who the four associates are, but one member is likely Eric Schwerin, who acts as Hunter Biden’s top financial advisor.
Schwerin may have provided documents to the committee as revenge for a possible double-cross Hunter Biden was planning to execute in 2019 as their relationship was on thin ice, Breitbart reported.
Comer’s investigations into the family also started to turn up hard evidence that the Bidens were into some suspicious business. In March, the committee discovered $1.3 million in Biden’s records, which appeared to be some kind of cut from a business associate.
“We believe the reason the family was receiving this money is because of favors that Joe Biden did as vice president and or as president,” Comer said.
Comer also announced that much of the money directly lining the pockets of the Biden family was coming from the Chinese Communist Party.
He said many of the materials revealed that now-President Joe Biden’s interests were related to his former position as vice president during the Obama adminstration.
“We believe the reason the family was receiving this money is because of favors that Joe Biden did as vice president and or as president,” Comer told Bloomberg last week.

Comer emphasized the importance of ethical standards for government officials, particularly in the executive branch.
“We need to know what is allowable and what isn’t allowable. We need to have strict ethics laws, and we need to significantly increase the disclosure laws in America,” he said. “I think this investigation is going to be very important to fix a problem before it gets out of hand.”
