(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) The Biden administration took time to celebrate “chestfeeding awareness month” in a mass email sent to the entirety of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection staff, drawing widespread criticism from agents tasked with protecting the southern border.
The email alerted staff to the upcoming “National Breast/Chestfeeding Awareness Month,” and emphasized the availability of “lactation support” for employees, particularly those who identified as “transgender and nonbinary-gendered individuals,” according to the Daily Caller.
Meanwhile, border agents faced an impossible task: controlling a massive surge of illegal immigrants—many of whom are dangerous criminals—with no fiscal or military assistance from the federal government.
CBP recorded more than 2.3 million migrant encounters at the border in the fiscal year of 2022.
“Instead of focusing on what really matters, you have literally an all-time record for illegal immigration, you have all-time record releases, you have an all-time record for got aways, you got all-time record rescues and all-time record deaths, and their biggest concern is this,” said Gil Maza, a retired border patrol agent who defended the border for 27 years.
“I don’t even know any of my coworkers who would ask for any kind of special chestfeeding considerations.”
Several current employees of the CBP found the email insulting, but not surprising.
“Don’t even know what to say to be honest. Nothing is surprising anymore,” an anonymous CBP official said. “Biden is by far the worst president we’ve had in recent history, he’s purposefully destroying the country because he’s beholden to foreign powers and not the American people.”
The leaky border caused several other recurring issues as well: a surge of deadly fentanyl, an epidemic of crime in large cities erupted, drug and human trafficking spiked and increased demands for taxpayer funding to house illegal aliens.
Not only has the Biden administration exacerbated the problem with their policies, reporters caught them selling Trump-era border wall parts.
