Barr Yelled at Trump, Refused to Discuss Hunter’s Laptop Even Knowing Biden Lied

'Dammit, Mr. President, I am not going to talk to you about Hunter Biden. Period... '

(Headline USA) Former Attorney General Bill Barr admitted in his new book that he dismissed reports about Hunter Biden’s laptop during a conversation with former President Donald Trump and refused to talk about the subject.

In the book, One Damn Thing After Another, Barr says Trump tried asking him about Hunter Biden’s laptop, and that he yelled at the president in response.

“‘Mr. President, I can’t talk about that, and I am not going to,’” Barr recalls saying, according to the Daily Mail.

When Trump tried to continue talking about the scandal, Barr interrupted him again: “‘Dammit, Mr. President, I am not going to talk to you about Hunter Biden. Period,’” he said.

The exchange between Barr and Trump is relevant considering Barr is now trying to slam President Joe Biden for downplaying Hunter Biden’s corruption. In an interview with Fox News last week, Barr said Biden knowingly lied about the laptop.

“He’s [Joe Biden] squarely confronted with the laptop, and he suggested that it was Russian disinformation and pointed to the letter written by some intelligence people that was baseless — which he knew was a lie,” Barr said.

Barr has also tried to downplay his role in the scandal and the fact that he ordered the Justice Department not to reveal that it was investigating Hunter Biden for tax fraud and money laundering, until after the 2020 election.

“When you’re talking about interference in an election I can’t think of anything more,” Barr said of Biden trying to dismiss reports about the laptop as Russian disinformation.
