(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Fanatics who favor killing unborn babies attacked a pro-life Minneapolis pregnancy center early Friday morning, before abortion activists protested over the weekend against the center helping save human lives.
Tammy Kocher, First Care Center executive director, said that the attackers broke seven windows and vandalized the building with messages like “If abortions arn’t safe neither r u” [sic] and “Jane was here,” according to the Daily Signal. The last message is a clear indicator that Jane’s Revenge, a radical group associated with attacks on more than 100 pro-life pregnancy centers and churches across the nation since May 2022, is responsible for this attack.
First Care’s surveillance video showed that, for two minutes, two hooded people in masks and gloves were defacing the building around 1:30 a.m.
Footage also showed that, before claiming that “abortion is a right,” domestic anti-life terrorists yelled, “Resist the presence of these corrupt organizations in our communities and demand there be no more state funding for anti-abortion centers.”
Instead of condemning the attack, the Minnesota Abortion Action Committee rallied in front of First Care. at 1 p.m. on Saturday in a protest called “Say No to Anti-Abortion Centers.” Even though the group admitted that the pregnancy center does not receive state funding, it wasn’t enough for them, since they made it their goal to make sure these centers won’t receive any taxpayers’ dollars in the future.
A Minneapolis Police Department spokesman, Adam Kennedy, said that the attack took place at 1:18 a.m.
“Officers from the 3rd precinct were flagged down by a Metro Transit bus driver reporting two individuals damaging property at the location. Officers responded to the site but found no one,” said a Minneapolis Police spokesman. Officers made contact with building security to take a report and processed the scene for evidence,” Kennedy said. “No arrests have been made. This is an active investigation.”
But not active for the Justice Department or the FBI, who Kennedy said were not involved in the investigation.
