ICE Caught Massively Underreporting Illegals Released into US w/o Tracking Equipment

'Likely, ICE communication staffers are having a lot of difficulty defending this administration’s chaotic and lawless policies... '

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) An internal document from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement revealed that the organization is underreporting the number of illegal immigrants released into the US without any tracking technology by more than 18,000%.

ICE distributed the document to raise awareness internally about their “Alternatives to Detention” program. The program was put in place in 2004 in an effort to monitor illegal immigrants with ankle bracelets and cell phones as they wait for their court date to determine citizenship.

According to the Daily Caller, there are 49,459 untracked and unmonitored illegal aliens in America. This figure is vastly different than the estimate on the ICE website, which claims there are only 266 untracked migrants.

“The Biden administration is hostile to transparency, and when it does publish data, it refuses to respond to media inquiries regarding significant discrepancies like this,” a former ICE official with knowledge of the Alternatives to Detention program said, confirming the figure was underreported.

“Likely, ICE communication staffers are having a lot of difficulty defending this administration’s chaotic and lawless policies.”

The Alternatives to Detention program was intended to be a “flight-mitigation tool” to discourage illegal aliens who are released into the country to wait for court proceedings from disappearing and dodging citizenship procedures.

The Biden administration has done little to stem the flow of immigrants coming through the southern border, which have totally overwhelmed U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers.

Democrats have also worked to limit enforcement and deportations since Biden took office in 2021.

Border patrol agents encountered at least 2.3 million with migrants in just the fiscal year of 2022, with 230,000 crossing the border in October alone.

The border has altogether been a disaster for the Biden administration, who refuse to even make it look like they’re trying to address the problem.

Vice President Kamala Harris, who was appointed by the president to tackle the issue, visited the border a year and half after being put in charge and has yet to make any real progress.

President Joe Biden has yet to visit the border at all, though press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre attempted to cover for him on this account.
