Republicans Renew Calls for Biden Impeachment if GOP Wins House Majority

'I have consistently said President Biden should be impeached for intentionally opening our border and making Americans less safe... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Remaining hopeful that they may take the House of Representatives in the upcoming November midterms, Republican lawmakers are already planning to impeach President Joe Biden.

Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., said that Biden should be impeached due to his failure to secure America’s border–a basic thing that any nation must have to be a nation.

“I have consistently said President Biden should be impeached for intentionally opening our border and making Americans less safe,” Good said, the Epoch Times reported.

“Congress has a duty to hold the President accountable for this and any other failures of his Constitutional responsibilities, so a new Republican majority must be prepared to aggressively conduct oversight on day one.”

Outspoken Republican Marjorie Taylor-Greene is also on the record saying that she would join in impeachment efforts because Biden poses an immediate threat to the security of anyone who supported former President Donald Trump.

“Joe Biden just declared all of us enemies of the state. Biden is a danger to us all,” she wrote, adding, that “Joe Biden MUST BE IMPEACHED!!”

Biden articulated his opposition to all Americans who voted for Trump in a theatrical speech last week that critics claimed have led to attacks on Republicans.

Others noted that Biden won’t be the only leftist targeted by removal or impeachment efforts. A Republican Congress would also attempt to remove supposedly non-partisan bureaucrats who have acted as partisan weapons for the Biden administration, said Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz.

“The congressman expects the House—at the bare minimum—to pursue impeachment efforts against President Biden, Secretary Mayorkas, and Attorney General Garland,” said Matthew Tragesser, the Arizona lawmaker’s communication director.

“Tens of millions of Americans expect individuals who have willfully violated their oaths of office and the rule of law to be held accountable,” Tragesser added, committing himself to “leaving no stone unturned” as Republicans prepare to enforce the rule of law.

Rep. Bill Posey, R-Fla., who led an impeachment call against Biden this April, said that there’s no reason a GOP House couldn’t tackle important issues like the economy and securing the southern border, while also holding the Biden administration accountable.

“I expect as the new Congress tackles these and other important issues, administration officials will be held to account for the decisions made,” Posey said.
