(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Even corporate media hack Dana Bash of CNN baffled Sen. Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren, D-Mass., earlier this week, by asking Warren basic questions about President Joe Biden‘s student loan forgiveness scheme.
In an appearance on Bash’s State of the Union show, Warren used emotional theatrics to try to create a sense of hysteria about the student loan issue, the Blaze reported.
But Bash had none of it, instead presenting Warren directly with the testimonial of a man who had responsibly paid off his loans for his small business, and who has concerns that Democrats are expressing preference for college-educated Americans in particular by redistributing money to them.
Warren immediately launched into her prepared emotional plea about her dreams of becoming a “public school teacher” coming from a blue-collar Native American family.
“I found a public university that cost $50 a semester, and for a price I could pay for on a part-time waitressing job, I finished a four-year diploma,” Warren said.
“We are going to wrap the chains of debt around you,” Warren continued, insinuating that America is a place where children cannot simply follow their dreams.
She also pled with Americans to pay for young people to be indoctrinated in large, woke universities, which are bloated with bureaucratic jobs.
But part way into Warren’s stump speech, Bash interrupted to point out: “Yeah, but I’m not sure that relieving this amount of debt changes the cost of college. The cost of college is still exorbitant.”
Warren was visibly shocked by the challenge, and so she blamed American taxpayers for the high cost of college education.
“Well, look, part of what [student loan forgiveness] does is it deals with the debt that has been built up because the cost of college has gone up because taxpayers have made fewer investments in our public colleges and universities,” Warren said.
