(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) After terrorizing San Francisco with a reign of so-called social justice reforms that turned the city into a pit of violent crime, rampant drug dealing, vandalism, home invasions and homelessness, voters in a recall election Tuesday ousted George Soros-backed District Attorney Chesa Boudin.
The recall movement, started last year, had gained significant momentum as Boudin’s alleged reform policies, from ending cash bail and lax sentencing for violent and repeat offenders, to purposefully reducing incarceration rates and simply ignoring certain offenses, led to spiking crime rates and open air drug markets.
In short order after the polls were closed in San Francisco, the recall result was announced with early returns showing a decisive 61% in favor of booting Boudin.

Boudin was one of a horde of radical activist prosecutors that Soros spent $40 million to elect and infiltrate soft-on-crime, anti-law enforcement social justice “reform” in DA offices across the country.
In the cities where those policies have taken root “jailings have plummeted and crime has surged,” including counties where 40% of U.S. homicides occur. Like San Francisco under Boudin’s policies, those cities also saw violent and property crime soar.
“He blamed the recall effort on ‘tech bros’ and Republican operatives,” reported Fox News’ Bill Melugin of Boudin’s recall reaction.
“LA DA @GeorgeGascon also trying to paint the recall effort against him as ‘Republican Recall.'”
Others had a more realistic explanation for Boudin’s ouster and the backlash facing other far-Left prosecutors.
“It’s almost like when you allow burglaries & carjackings & open air drug use & public urination & no cash bail & fail to prosecute violent criminals… all voters, conservative & liberal, hate you,” tweeted Liz Wheeler.
