(Alex Tien, Headline USA) A conservative youth club is fighting back against the woke indoctrination occurring at many liberal colleges and universities.
A “White Student Accountability Group” meeting was recently held by the University of South Carolina College of Social Work, the Washington Examiner reported. The University insisted that the event was put on by a student; however, students of the college were invited to attend the meeting.
“The Accountability Group was part of a student’s project and was not part of an officially sponsored College of Social Work activity,” a spokesperson told Fox News. “The meeting was open to everyone and was strictly voluntarily.”
The purpose of the event was to “help social work students recognize both their contribution to and responsibility to dismantle racism in our practice.”
Additionally, the event meant to encourage students to use their “voice, power, and privilege” to address racism. How exactly racism was going to be fixed or dismantled was not entirely clear.
As incidents like this become more frequent, more and more young people are rejecting the woke nonsense of the universities and are are fighting back against the leftist teachings of anti-racism.
Turning Point USA, a national conservative student group, condemned the meeting and called on the University to “reevaluate what we are promoting to our students. We firmly believe that America’s youth should not be taught to resent one another.”
“It is our understanding that the College of Social Work hosted a “White Student Accountability Group” over Zoom,” the statement read.
“The very suggestion that certain students should be subject to a higher level of scrutiny on the basis of skin color is not only wrong but counterproductive and anti-American. Notions such as white privilege and white guilt do not combat racism and division, they reinforce it.”
