(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) In a letter, Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., told Attorney General Merrick Garland to force all Justice Department officials connected to Hillary Clinton to recuse themselves from Special Counsel John Durham‘s investigation.
Hawley called on Margaret Goodlander, the wife of National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, to recuse herself from Durham’s probe into the origins of the Russia collusion hoax, The Republic Brief reported.
Sullivan served as Clinton’s national security advisor during the 2016 presidential campaign. Goodlander serves as Garland’s “counsel” in his “personal office.”
Clinton also attended Sullivan and Goodlander’s wedding, further establishing a conflict of interest.
The Justice Department claimed last November that Goodlander, who works in anti-trust and foreign policy, does not have any connection to Durham’s investigation.
Hawley’s letter came in response to Durham’s filing, which asserted that Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign paid a technology company to spy on former President Donald Trump at Trump Tower, the Executive Office of the President, and his Central Park apartment.
“These shocking revelations show that the 2016 Clinton Campaign was a criminal enterprise involving lawyers, Big Tech, and current Biden Administration officials,” Hawley wrote in the letter. “The question now is whether anyone will be held accountable.”
The Clinton-funded spies ripped information from Trump’s private internet server to formulate the Russia collusion narrative.
“This could be the most direct link yet between Trump and Moscow,” Sullivan said in 2016 after receiving information from the hackers. “Computer scientists have apparently uncovered a covert server linking the Trump Organization to a Russian-based bank.”
Trump told the American people at the time that Clinton’s campaign had spied on him, but the corporate media rejected his claims without further investigation.
“These actions were part of a concerted effort to smear President Trump by promoting the false narrative that he was in collusion with Russia,” Hawley wrote.
