Early Facebook Investor Peter Thiel Stakes $1.5M for Conservative Dating App

'Conservatives deserve an easy way to connect... '

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Peter Thiel, an initial investor in Facebook, has invested $1.5 million into development for a conservative dating app, Just the News reported.

The app, aptly called “The Right Stuff,” will kick off this summer as an invite-only experience based in Washington D.C.

It will look and function like most dating apps, and will only function on the iOS mobile operating system initially.

“The Right Stuff” will be free as well, with the possibility of a subscription service being introduced later in development.

While the app is not strictly right-wing, it will be marketed to mainly conservative singles living in large urban areas.

We’re excited to launch,” app founder, former Trump body man and aide, John McEentee told Axios. “Conservatives deserve an easy way to connect.”

Thiel is a silicon valley billionaire and a Trump ally who has constantly funded a variety of conservative causes, including Rumble, an alternate video-hosting platform that does not censor content.

Rumble has grown quickly, with over 30 million active monthly users.

This is one of Theil’s first moves since he left the board of Facebook a few months ago to support conservative political candidates.

Trump is also set to release his social media app, Truth Social, by the end of February.

The Twitter-like platform bills itself as anti-censorship and excludes the “self-righteous scolds and self-appointed arbiters,” who the former president said dictate what Twitter users “think, say, share, and do.”

Trump has already made his first post on the brand new platform:
