POLL: Biden Is Dragging Down Dems in 13 Key Battleground States

'State Republicans enter 2022 with the wind at their backs thanks to the failures of Joe Biden and Democrat-controlled Washington...'

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) The Republican State Leadership Committee has released results of a survey showing that President Joe Biden is negatively impacting races in key battleground states.

The survey was conducted in 13 states including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania—all of which weredisputed Biden victories in the 2020 election.

The Cygnal survey demonstrates that the radically left-wing agenda being pushed in Washington if effecting the races of state legislatures.

“Just like we saw in Virginia’s House of Delegates races in 2021, the top issues on the minds of Americans in battleground states currently favor state Republicans,” the report said. “State Republicans enter 2022 with the wind at their backs thanks to the failures of Joe Biden and Democrat-controlled Washington.”

The survey goes on to say that only 34% of likely voters think the country is on the right track, as opposed to 62% who believe it is on the wrong track.

Biden’s approval ratings are still abysmal, sitting at 44% favorability compared to 54% who view him unfavorably. Other polls have seen Biden’s approval ratings recently sink into the low 30s.

Elected Democrats in Washington likewise are underwater with a 42%-51% favorability deficit.

Self-identified independent voters are currently leaning Republican because “voters want their state legislatures to serve as a counterweight to the Biden agenda,” said the RSLC.

The economy is forecasted to be a big issue for the up-and-coming midterms, which puts a damper on the proceedings for the Democrat team.

Republicans have the current advantage on issues such as cost of living, inflation, crime and education.

Those who were surveyed also favored specific conservative solutions that Republicans are proposing to deal with these problems.

Democratic issues such as voting rights and COVID-19 control were polled as a lower priority in these battleground states.

“An even bigger problem for Democrats is that the issues they have prioritized so far this cycle and claim to own are far less important to voters and their advantage on them is statistically non-existent,” the RSLC said.
