The National Education Association, the largest teachers union in the country, has deleted more controversial political positions– including positions on Critical Race Theory — from their website than was previously reported, said JustTheNews, after a legal foundation revealed its discovery of the now-deleted pages.
“The Southeastern Legal Foundation publicized the archived pages, which now redirect to NEA’s RA portal, on Monday night,” said JustTheNews. “The pages’ Internet Archive indexes also show some were first taken down — returning ‘404 Not Found’ empty pages — without redirecting.”
Previously, it was revealed that the NEA had scrubbed its website of references to critical race theory voted on last year as conservatives accused the union of pushing the controversial theory in the classroom.
Last summer, the nation’s largest teachers union scrubbed its website of newly approved resolutions approving funding for “critical race theory” promotion. @slf_liberty had now publicized the archived pages.

“Dozens of pages of assembly resolutions and proposed resolutions disappeared from The National Education Association’s website Tuesday,” reported Fox News last year, “some of which included highly-controversial items on critical race theory, anti-racism, and mandatory vaccines.”
Among the items that have been deleted going back to votes in 2019 are the approval of a Black Lives Matter week, ethnic studies classes for pre-kindergarten, and restorative justice classes, said JustTheNews.
The NEA has alternately denied and defended teaching racial theories in the classroom.
Even as it scrambled to delete controversial items from its website last year and deny CRT was being taught in classrooms, the NEA defended CRT in the classrooms.
As controversy raged in the US over CRT last summer the NEA promised to publicize “an already-created, in-depth study that critiques white supremacy, anti-Blackness, anti-Indigeneity, racism, patriarchy … capitalism … and other forms of power and oppression,” said the New York Post.
Southeastern Legal Foundation (SLF) said that the NEA also accused the US government of destabilizing Central America and creating the immigration crisis in the US, as well promoting a position defending abortion, according to JustTheNews.
“There is a lot more that we will be putting out,” SLF promised about the newly revealed NEA documents.
