Candace Owens: ‘Metaverse’ Taking Us to the COVID ‘Brink of Trans-Humanism’

'Soon children are going to be told to stay home, put on their goggles, and go to class. And they're going to be convinced that they're actually going to class and sitting next to their peers... '

Political commentator Candace Owens released a video comparing Mark Zuckerberg‘s new ‘Metaverse’ to Trans-humanism, Front Page Mag reported.

In her view, the Metaverse and the associated “virtual reality” goggles work part and parcel with the pandemic lockdowns instituted by the left and its Silicon Valley allies. Owens described the alarming experience of using “Oculus Goggles,” which convince their user that the screen is in fact a reflection of reality.

The political effects of such technology are nearly unlimited.

Zuckerberg’s new Metaverse is a way to experience a fake world as an escape from reality. And like 2022 America, Zuckerberg’s new “world” is already designed to benefit the ultra-rich.

According to Owens, a plot of “virtual land” just sold for $4.3 million.

The rich have also been purchasing virtual art, “to put in their virtual house on their virtual land,” Owens said.

Owens also emphasized how frightened the experience made her, connecting it to the Coronavirus lockdowns.

Virtual learning, combined with the “never before seen shutdown of schools” that came with COVID and the subsequent leftist lockdowns, play nicely into the hands of Zuckeberg’s new experiment.

“What better priming could there have been for a Meta-existence?” Owens asked.

She also mused about the potential effects of Zuckerberg’s new technologies on schooling and education. In the name of science or health, children will exchange Coronavirus masks for the Facebook CEO’s virtual reality masks.

“Soon children are going to be told to stay home, put on their goggles, and go to class,” Owens said. “And they’re going to be convinced that they’re actually going to class and sitting next to their peers.”

She also remarked that adults, too, will become addicted to the masks, just as they are addicted to smart phones and the internet already.

“No need for parents to physically go into work anymore either” with the Metaverse, she concluded.
