While many in the mainstream media remain loath to acknowledge the existence of Hunter Biden‘s abandoned laptop, the trove of hard-drive data has been a gold mine for conservative investigative journalists seeking insight into the depraved family’s unspoken motives.
For instance, President Joe Biden’s lax open-borders policy and harsh attack on the Canada-based Keystone XL pipeline just might have something to do with his family’s plan to invest in a US–Mexico pipeline alongside south-of-the-border oligarchs like TracFone mogul Carlos Slim.
That slow-burning revelation from the laptop emerged last week—courtesy, not of any top-tier US outlet (Slim also happens to be a major investor in the New York Times), but rather, the UK’s Daily Mail.
Another overlooked detail emerged this week, again from the Daily Mail, in a 2018 Father’s Day exchange between Hunter and Joe that would be touching but for the backdrop of global corruption and the current national-security implications that accompany it.
While doing a rehab stint in California, Hunter sent a text lamenting his absence at the annual family gathering.
“I am going to my yoga week in Big Sur. I love you Dad and I’m sorry I won’t be there for Father’s Day,” he wrote.
“Being home is really hard for me. Being away from you is harder,” continued Hunter, who had been involved in a tumultuous—and oftentimes abusive—relationship with the widow of his deceased brother, Beau. (Candidate Joe Biden downplayed the strange family dynamic on the campaign trail by saying it was a problem many families could relate to.)
“There had never been a boy more loved by a Dad than me by you,” wrote the then-48-year-old Hunter.
“All I want is to make you proud,” he continued. And I know I haven’t. But I promise I’m trying Dad.”
The future president responded, shortly after 4 a.m., by offering absolution to his prodigal son and assuring him that the addiction issues that afflicted him were not his fault.
“You’ve always made me proud you got the disease from mommy and me but you are strong and courageous with so much more to give,” Joe Biden wrote.
“It’s time for you to remember what a truly remarkable man lies beneath and everyone can see it,” he continued. “Lean on me as I have on you My whole life”.
This seemingly simple, heartfelt—if somewhat overly sentimental and borderline creepy—exchange leaves much to unpack.
“Although Joe Biden does not currently drink alcohol, the text messages further confirm his family to be highly dysfunctional and gripped by anger, rage and addiction,” wrote the Gateway Pundit.
DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE
To begin with,the exchange hints at Joe Biden’s own issues with addiction, of which there is little in the public record despite a four-decade career in public service.
The Daily Mail‘s reporting confirmed at least five close members of the Biden family’s inner circle have been known to deal with serious addiction problems.
While it is not publicly known whether Joe Biden has suffered from substance-abuse problems, as the text appeared to suggest, such an addiction could possibly help explain his lifetime of erratic behavior and apparent dementia issues.
Among the routine gaffes, so ubiquitous as to go oft-unreported, was confusing one of Hunter’s daughters with his own deceased son.
“I want to introduce you to two of my granddaughters … this is my son, Beau Biden who a lot of you helped elect to the Senate in Delaware,” Joe Biden said on Election Day last year while putting his arm around Hunter’s daughter Finnegan. (Beau Biden was elected to serve as Delaware’s state attorney general, but never to the Senate.)
The 78-year-old soon-to-be president then corrected himself—sort of. “This is my granddaughter, Natalie … no wait, we got the wrong one.”
After locating the right granddaughter, he then misidentified Finnegan as “Beau’s number two.”
Meanwhile, the text’s admission that Hunter’s biological mother, Neilia, had substance-abuse issues could offer new light in the long-suppressed details of the 1972 car accident in which she and Hunter’s 13-month-old sister died.
Joe Biden has falsely accused the truck driver who hit his wife’s car of having been drunk at the time. But little attention has been given to Neilia’s own condition, even though she likely was at fault in the fatal accident.
SEX ADDICTIONS
The Biden patriarch’s impulsivity has manifested in several claims of sexual misconduct, ranging from hair-sniffing to unwelcome digital penetration.
Hunter’s half-sister, Ashley Biden, also hinted in her personal diary that she may have taken inappropriate showers with her father.
That sex-addiction gene did not skip a generation. Hunter, while maintaining his romance with his brother’s widow, Hallie, is also believed to have taken nude photographs with one of his own underage nieces.
Ironically, Hunter’s heartfelt 2018 Father’s Day message to his own dad came only two months before the birth of his fourth (of five) children, an illegitimate baby boy with former Washington, DC, stripper Lunden Roberts.
Despite seeing the benefit of his own father–son relationship, Hunter long denied paternity of the child, and he resisted the legal effort to force him to disclose his finances for child-support payments before reluctantly settling the dispute in private.
Joe Biden has not publicly acknowledged the grandson.
TOXIC FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS
The 2018 text exchange also hints, whether intentionally or not, at the unhealthy codependency between father and son.
While Joe Biden would seem to be an enabler of his son’s vices, insisting that he is not to blame for the shocking behavior—including Hunter’s admission to smoking Parmesan cheese under the delusion that it was crack—he also acknowledged regularly ‘leaning on’ his son.
The seemingly innocuous, throwaway line becomes more sinister, however, in light of Hunter’s business dealings and recent reports that the aspiring artist likely was pressured by Joe Biden into becoming the family breadwinner.
In another text message, Hunter complains to his daughter Naomi about the disrespect he receives from family, despite having to furnish their opulent lifestyle.
“I love you all but I don’t receive any respect, and that’s fine, I guess,” he wrote. “… I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for thirty years… It’s really hard, but don’t worry, unlike pop, I won’t make you give me half your salary.”
The laptop revealed that some of the email discussions surrounding the Biden family ventures—starting while Joe Biden was still serving as vice president during the Obama administration—included stipulations of a 10% cut for “the big guy” (widely understood to be Joe Biden) that Hunter was to hold in escrow until he could avoid triggering an ethics probe.
