White House Declares Economic Victory over Russia

'So, it's inaccurate to suggest it's gone unanswered – we have taken all the steps and rallied the world... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) White House press secretary Jen Psaki declared an economic victory over the Russians, boasting that the Biden administration has obliterated their economy, Fox News reported.

According to the press secretary, Russia, not America, is reeling as a result of the economic sanctions.

“We have basically crushed the Russian economy,” she asserted.

Psaki refused to commit to military intervention in Ukraine, as the Russian skirmish continues.

“I’m not going to get into red lines from here,” she said.

But she did brag about the military assistance that America has supplied to the floundering nation state.

“What I would tell you is that when I said we have not let anything go unanswered, what I mean is we have amped up a range of military and security assistance – a historic amount – to Ukraine, including a range of defensive weapons,” she said. “We’ve expedited the delivery.”

Despite serious problems at home–a border crisis, record inflation, continued unrest over extreme pandemic-related measures–Psaki insisted that it is still a good thing for America to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to aid Ukraine.

“Even in the last 10 days, we’ve delivered about $240 million [to Ukraine],” Psaki said, before adding that we have also spent millions on humanitarian aid as Americans suffer.

“Also, we have provided a range of humanitarian assistance, and we have basically crushed the Russian economy, where the stock market is not even open,” she told reporters.

“So, it’s inaccurate to suggest it’s gone unanswered – we have taken all the steps and rallied the world,” she said.

When asked about rocketing gas prices, Psaki, blaming the Russians, projected that the spike would be “temporary,” and that things should top out soon.

“There is also no question that when a foreign dictator invades a foreign country, and when that foreign dictator is the head of a country that is the third-largest supplier of oil in the world, that is going to have an impact. And it is.”
