White House Bash Was a COVID Superspreader Gala

'It is my great honor to be speaking tonight at the nation's most distinguished super-spreader event... '

(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) Near-octogenarian President Joe Biden was almost certainly exposed to COVID during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 30, according to a report in CNN.

Alleged comedian Trevor Noah summoned the spirit of COVID in his capacity as the event’s host.

“It is my great honor to be speaking tonight at the nation’s most distinguished super-spreader event,” Noah joked.

Subsequent events have proved him a prophet.

According to CNN, ABC News chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl was the event’s Patient Zero and may have infected President Biden.

“Most notably, ABC’s Jon Karl, who shook hands with President Biden and who sat next to Kim Kardashian, has fallen ill,” CNN reported.

The exact moment was captured on video by the Daily Wire’s Mary Margaret Olohan.

Biden made several jokes at former President Donald Trump’s expense, most infamously calling him a “horrible plague.”

“This is the first time a president attended this dinner in six years,” Biden said. “It’s understandable — we had a horrible plague followed by two years of COVID.”

But the joke may have been on Biden.

“We worked hard to publicize our protocols and encouraged those eligible to get booster shots in the weeks leading up to the dinner,” White House Correspondents Association President Steven Portnoy told CNN.

“Our event implemented protocols that went beyond any guidance or regulation issued by the CDC or the DC health department.”

CNN reported that “reporters and staffers from CNN, ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, Politico, and other participating news organizations have tested positive for the virus.”

Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is among those who have tested positive in the aftermath of the dinner, according to the New York Daily News.
