‘What is a Woman?’ Doc Exceeds 150M Views on Twitter

'Every parent should watch this...'

(Dmytro “Henry” AleksandrovHeadline USA) Despite the initial censorship issues on Twitter, the “What Is A Woman?” documentary created by one of the Daily Wire‘s podcast hosts Matt Walsh exceeded 150 million views on the platform as of this Sunday afternoon.

The Daily Wire’s “movie they [the pro-“transgender” activists] really don’t want you to see” will be available on Twitter for the rest of this weekend.

According to the Post Millennial, the outlet initially planned to release the film for free only on June 1 but later decided to prolong the free watch time.

“We want everyone to have a chance to watch it for free!” the Daily Wire said.

Previously, the Daily Wire documentary was censored on Twitter. On June 1, the Daily Wire co-CEO Jeremy Boreing said that Twitter had canceled a deal both companies struck to promote the film on the platform.

“Twitter canceled a deal with [the Daily Wire] to premiere What is a Woman? for free on the platform because of two instances of ‘misgendering,'” Boreing wrote.

Boreing then stated that Twitter claimed that the company censored the film because of their “freedom of speech not reach” policy. Twitter owner Elon Musk responded within a few hours.

“This was a mistake by many people at Twitter. It is definitely allowed.”

The restrictions to sharing the video, however, were still limited, which led to people doubting whether Musk’s previous claim about Twitter becoming a free speech platform were sincere or not. It eventually became clear that Musk actually believes that Twitter is a free-speech platform by sharing the film himself.

“Every parent should watch this,” he wrote in his tweet.

“Consenting adults should do whatever makes them happy, provided it does not harm others, but a child is not capable of consent, which is why we have laws protecting minors,” he added later.
