WaPo Comes Clean on Trump Nuke Hoax after Midterms

'Same sleazy people involved... '

(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) Two months before the 2022 midterm elections, Attorney General Merrick Garland authorized an FBI raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property to discredit the Democrats’s primary political opponent, under the guise of protecting democracy.

Now that the election has passed, mainstream media outlets have dropped their most delusional expectations—like the Washington Post’s prediction that Trump stole “nuclear secrets”—and admitted that Biden’s Justice Department had no basis to trash Trump’s property, steal his documents and further attack his character.

Anonymous federal authorities said they searched Trump’s home to see if he had used classified government documents to enrich himself and his properties, according to Becker News.

But the Washington Post this week reported that a “review by agents and prosecutors found no discernible business interest in the Mar-a-Lago documents…”

The Mar-a-Lago raid came to the same conclusion that other investigations, including New York Attorney General Letitia Jamesprobe, have arrived at over and over: Trump has not committed fraud or abused his office for profit.

“That review has not found any apparent business advantage to the types of classified information in Trump’s possession, these people said,” informed Post’s report. “FBI interviews with witnesses so far, they said, also do not point to any nefarious effort by Trump to leverage, sell or use the government secrets.”

That hasn’t prevented Garland from continuing his political persecution, and on Friday he appointed a special counsel to further harass Trump as he launches his 2024 presidential run.

Trump refused to give federal agents his documents because he felt a “basic desire not to give up what he believed was his property,” the anonymous sources said. The DOJ felt that his “ego and intransigence” justified the unprecedented raid against the sitting president’s main rival.

Trump compared the Mar-a-Lago raid to the Russia collusion hoax and the Ukraine hoax.

“Same sleazy people involved,” he wrote on Truth Social. “Why wouldn’t the FBI allow the inspection of areas at Mar-a-Lago with our lawyer’s, or others, present?”
