(Headline USA) Video footage captured in California near the southern border this week showed U.S. Border Patrol agents being attacked and taunted by illegals.
The incident took place near Imperial Beach, where two migrants were crossing into the U.S. illegally by “swimming around the International Boundary Maritime primary fencing,” according to Customs and Border Protection. The migrants were 17 and 20-years-old, the New York Post reported.
The video showed agents detaining one of the illegal immigrants after he arrived on shore. At one point, the other migrant shouts and lunges at an agent until another agent tackled the migrant from behind.
“As agents attempted to take both migrants into custody, the migrants actively resisted and assaulted the agents,” a CBP spokesperson said. “During the confrontation, the agents deployed less-lethal devices.”
Throughout the recording, shouting can be heard from other migrants behind the fence who were waiting to illegally cross into the country.

The video was shared by Rep. Mayra Flores, R-Texas, who praised the Border Patrol agents for keeping their cool. She said this is “just a small example of what our brave men and women of [Customs and Border Protection] deal with on a daily basis.”
“Left without any support by this administration and thanks to their open border policies, disrespect and misconduct toward our law enforcement officials have reached alarming levels,” she added.
