Vanderbilt Deletes Website for Tranny Clinic after Matt Walsh Exposé

'If you are going to assert conscientious objection, you have to realize that that is problematic...'

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) An investigation by watchdog journalist Matt Walsh forced the Vanderbilt University Medical Center to scrub the entire website of its Nashville Gender Clinic.

The Daily Wire host posted video of officials discussing the expected revenue for the clinic’s services, including childhood genital removal and alteration, as reported by ZeroHedge.

“It’s a lot of money,” said Vanderbilt doctor Shayne Taylor.

While some more health-relevant treatments, such as obesity medication and procedures, oftentimes are labeled “cosmetic” by insurance companies, transgender surgeries, which require frequent follow-up visits, have long been covered under government-subsidized ObamaCare as pre-existing conditions using the label “gender identity disorder,” Kaiser Health News reported.

Worse yet, Vanderbilt officials suggested that any doctors who voiced “conscientious objections” to the clinic were likely to face punitive “consequences”—further impacting healthcare for the average patient by limiting physician availability and leaving only unhinged, woke radicals to staff its facility.

“If you are going to assert conscientious objection, you have to realize that that is problematic,” warned Ellen Clayton, another Vanderbilt doctor.

“I just want you to take home that saying that you’re not going to do something because of your conscientious—because of your religious beliefs—is not without consequences, and should not be without consequences,” she continued. “… If you don’t want to do this kind of work, don’t work at Vanderbilt.”

Fortunately for the transgender clinic, there is no shortage of oversight for its medical professionals.

A program called “Trans Buddies” pairs patients—including children—with a local transgender activist who is there not only for support but to monitor for “unsafe” behavior such as misgendering, Walsh reported.

Walsh’s deep dive on the clinic also produced confirmation that the hospital provided hormon treatments and chemical castration to children as young as 13.

After the bombshell report on Tuesday, Tennessee’s Republican Gov. Bill Lee called for an investigation into the Vanderbilt hospital.

The medical center responded by making all of its records available in the interest of total transparency since it had nothing to hide deleting the entire website for the transgender clinic.

But Walsh reassured would-be investigators that he still had the proverbial receipts.

But on the Wednesday episode of his webcast, Walsh said enraged leftists had called for his arrest over the report.
