Trump Cuts New Ad About Indictment

'The only crime that I have committed is to fearlessly defend our nation from those who seek to destroy it...'

(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) President Trump released a campaign ad about his indictment on Friday, hoping to further capitalize on the political indictment.

The video came via a tweet from the Trump War Room.

The video is just under a minute, and begins with somber music and descriptions of the trial by Fox News’s Sean Hannity and Gregg Jarrett.

Hannity’s voice begins the video. “Idiotic, small-minded prosecution,” he says.

“[The indictment is a] persecution disguised as a prosecution,” Jarett said.

Andre C. McCarthy, The New York Post’s legal analyst, also contributed to the ad.

“[I] would dismiss it [the indictment] on its face because it fails to state a crime,” he said.

Then, clips from President Trump’s Tuesday speech appear in the video.

“The only crime that I have committed is to fearlessly defend our nation from those who seek to destroy it,” the President said. “And now, these radical left lunatics want to interfere with our elections by using law enforcement.”

“We. Can’t. Let. That. Happen.”

President Trump Expressed optimism in the face of opposition.

“With all of this being said, and with a very dark cloud over our beloved country, I have no doubt that nevertheless we will Make America Great Again,” he said.

The advertisement is of high quality and looks like it was done by the makers of Top Gun, according to RedState.

This ad seems to be an overt attempt to continue to positive trajectory created for President Trump by the botched indictment.

Twenty-four hours after his indictment Trump raised $4 million from donors. Over a quarter of these donations were from first time donors giving an average of $34.

The surge of support is more than financial, as President Trump has received a surge in political support.

Trump’s boosted support, along with his rapidly developing campaign organization make him a very formidable candidate to receive the Republican nomination in 2024.
