In a statement published through his Save America PAC, Trump responded: “No, he’s mentally ill, a very sick man. I don’t know what Kellyanne did to him, but it must have been really bad. She has totally destroyed this guy — his mind is completely shot!” Trump said.
In response to Trump’s barb, Conway referred to a defamation lawsuit filed by writer E. Jean Carroll, who has accused Trump of assaulting her in New York City years ago. Trump has repeatedly denied the allegations but lost a bid in March to countersue Carroll.

George Conway has repeatedly questioned Trump’s mental state, suggesting that he suffers from a narcissistic personality disorder and an antisocial personality disorder.
“Anything involving the use of brain cells is not his strong suit,” he said back in 2019.

Kellyanne Conway served as Trump’s senior counsel until August 2020, when she stepped down to focus on her family and, theoretically, her marital issues.
“We disagree about plenty,” Kellyanne Conway said of her relationship with her husband, “but we are united on what matters most: the kids.”
They have four children together.
