Team Kamala Disses and Demeans Handicapped Drivers

'Being married to a babbling idiot could be a handicap, but not one eligible for disabled parking permits... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris recently virtue-signaled her supposed solidarity with the handicapped population when she proclaimed her pronouns and described her appearance, allegedly as a benefit to any visually-impaired audience members with enough fortitude to listen to her cackle through another speech.

The Harris’ family true feelings of privilege, and not just cheap virtue-signaling, were more aptly revealed when the Veep’s husband, Second (alleged) Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, was caught abusing handicap parking spaces with his regal motorcade as he leisurely shopped at trendy Whole Foods and picked up dry cleaning in the posh Brentwood area of Los Angeles.

When video went viral of Emhoff’s Secret Service detail and its two large black Chevy Suburbans hogging several handicap parking spaces, the backlash was immediate and rightfully unforgiving, coming only two weeks after Kamala performed for a roundtable discussion with disability advocates.

“No matter your political affiliation, we ALL need to respect #DisabilityRights,” tweeted one disappointed Emhoff fan.

Fox News host Harris Faulkner shared those sentiments in more fervid tones.

“I think this is one of those just grab the privilege and ride it home, cowboy,” Faulkner said of Emhoff’s actions.

“Like, I just don’t think they think deep enough to something that his wife might have said earlier about, you know, giving an advantage to those who might need it at a time, that sort of thing.”

Faulkner, though, seemed to give Team Kamala an easy out, opining that Emhoff’s transgression didn’t appear to be “mean-sprited,” only a failure to “recognize just how bad the optics might be.”

Regardless of the optics, the motorcade’s space-hogging violated California’s vehicle code, which states that “it is unlawful for any person to park or leave standing any vehicle in a stall or space designated for disabled persons and disabled veterans … unless the vehicle displays either a special identification license plate … or a distinguishing placard,” according to the Daily Wire.

Harris’ hubby doesn’t get a pass on that count, noted one Twitter user.

“Being married to a babbling idiot could be a handicap, but not one eligible for disabled parking permits.”
