(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) Harrison Butker, the conservative Catholic who kicks for the Kansas City Chiefs, trolled Joe Biden over abortion during his Championship White House visit.
Photographs on Twitter showed that Butker donned a tie with the Latin phrase “Vulnerari Praesidio,” stitched into it.
The Latin phrase either translates to “Protect the most vulnerable,” according to Fox News or “Protect the vulnerable,” according to the Institute for Human Ecology at The Catholic University of America.

The pro-life group, Live Action, designed the tie specifically for Butker’s visit to the Biden White House, according to The Daily Signal.
Butker also wore a gold pin of baby’s feet that represented the size of a 10-week-old baby.
“I want to give the most vulnerable, the unborn, a voice at a place where every effort has been made to allow and normalize the tragic termination of their lives,” Butker said, explaining his decision to wear the tie.
“As a father who has experienced three miscarriages, my wife and I understand the hardships that come with losing a child. Every life is precious and should be valued whether outside or inside the womb.”
Live Action founder and president Lila Rose also produced a statement about her organization designing Butker’s tie.
“President Biden is a professing Catholic who, as the most powerful man in the world, is responsible for leading the most pro-abortion administration in our history that has overseen a horrific death toll of 2,548 children every day lost to abortion,” she said, explaining the need to produce visible opposition to Biden’s abortion policies.
Butker’s explanation of his outfit was enriched by a speech he gave at the Georgia Institute of Technology, according to Life News.
“Sadly, we are encouraged to live our lives for ourselves to move from one thing to another with no long-term commitment,” he said, critiquing contemporary American culture. “To have loyalty for nothing but ourselves and sacrifice only when it suits our own interests. This loneliness is rooted in the lies being sold about self-dependence and prioritizing our career over important relationships.”
