Secret Chinese-Linked COVID-19 Biotech Lab Discovered in Calif.

'Nothing to see here. Just an illegal Chinese biolab hidden inside a nondescript warehouse in California... '

(Dmytro “Henry” AleksandrovHeadline USA) After a months-long investigation, local and federal officials uncovered a secret biotech lab in California that is connected to China with nearly 1,000 mice, 20 potentially infectious agents, human blood, COVID-19 tests and other disturbing revelations.

Inside a warehouse in Reedley, Calif., Fresno County authorities discovered an “unlicensed laboratory,” Blaze Media reported. The secret lab was owned by Prestige BioTech — a company registered in Las Vegas, Nev., that also has unverified addresses in China.

The company claimed that it moved assets to the warehouse from the now-defunct Universal Meditech Inc.

A code enforcement officer noticed on March 3 that a garden hose was attached and coming out of a wall in the back of the warehouse.

“Frankly, we knew that should not have been there and when she went to investigate, she found that there was activity or operation or something happening within that building,” Reedley City Manager Nicole Zieba said.

The discovery of the lab happened after the Fresno County Public Health Department obtained search warrants on March 16.

“Certain rooms of the warehouse were found to contain several vessels of liquid and various apparatus. Fresno County Public Health staff also observed [human] blood, tissue… other bodily fluid samples and serums and thousands of vials of unlabeled fluids and suspected biological material,” the court documents said.

There were over 800 different chemicals on site, Fresno County Public Health Department assistant director Joe Prado said.

“There were [under 1,000] laboratory mice on-site at this location. What we heard from the business owner was that they were doing some type of testing with those mice to see whether or not their COVID test kits were actually effective in detecting COVID,” Prado added.

Officials also discovered refrigerators filled with illegal COVID-19 and pregnancy tests and at least 20 potentially infectious agents — including coronavirus, HIV, hepatitis, malaria and herpes — a June 6 Health and Human Services letter stated.
