(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) The Satanic Temple has released a statement saying they will fight the Supreme Court’s ruling on Roe v. Wade, joining Democrats, baby-killers and alt-left radicals in opposition to preserving life, according to the Gateway Pundit.
The statement was released in a Tweet that proclaimed, “The body is inviolable, subject to ones will alone.”

“The news that Roe v. Wade will likely be overturned is extremely distressing,” the statement reads. “The Satanic Temple (TST) has nevertheless positioned itself to protect religious abortion access for our members.”
Responding to the leaked Supreme Court draft written by Justice Samuel Alito, which suggested that the court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, the Temple said it was committed to protecting “religious abortion access.”
“We will continue to take steps, including legal action, to ensure our members do not have to endure hindrances to immediate access,” the statement said.
The Satanic Temple’s argument is that their followers should be allowed religious exemptions to perform abortion rituals in states that have ruled abortion as illegal.
“In states that outlaw abortion but grant exceptions for instances of incest and rape, members should be permitted a religious exception to perform TST’s religious abortion ritual.”
The statement said that satanists will request abortion-inducing drugs under the guise of religious exemptions in states that outlaw the harmful procedure:
“States that outlaw abortion and do not grant exceptions present more significant challenges, but TST has a number of plans that we will be undertaking quite soon,” the statement informed.
“First, we will be suing the FDA to permit TST access to Mifepristone and Misoprostol for use under medical supervision as part of our religious abortion ritual.
“Unfettered access to these drugs would be a considerable step toward enabling TST to perform our abortion ritual without government interference … the law is clearly on our side, but we are gearing up for a legal battle.”
In their conclusion, TST stated that they are “researching the possibility of creating religious abortion facilities,” and requested volunteers.
