Sarah Palin: Left’s Persecution of Trump Could Lead to New Civil War

'Just keep in mind what they're trying to do to him... '

(Abdul–Rahman Oladimeji Bello, Headline USA) Former Alaska Republican Gov. Sarah Palin triggered leftists into an apocalyptic frenzy with her prediction that the Biden regime’s continued political persecution of Donald Trump could start a civil war.

“Those who are conducting this travesty and creating this two-tier system of justice, I want to ask them what the heck, do you want us to be in civil war? Because that’s what’s going to happen,” Palin told Newsmax on Thursday. “We’re not going to keep putting up with this.”

Palin’s comments came as Trump was being arrested and booked in Fulton County, stemming from the sham RICO charges brought by a rabid, Soros-backed district attorney over Trump’s challenging the dubious results of the marred 2020 election.

“They’re taking extra steps to humiliate him,” Palin said, adding that the efforts were having the opposite effect.

“He’s using this as fuel. He’s using this as even more of this body armor that he has and that he needs to speak for the rest of us and to fight for the rest of us,” Palin said. “Just keep in mind what they’re trying to do to him. Not just, of course, bankrupt him but take away all of his civil rights and humiliate him.”

Newsmax anchor Eric Bolling picked up that thread, noting that the public on both sides of the political spectrum is starting to recognize the Biden Justice Department’s malicious intent.

“The voters are seeing how unjust it is. They may not like Trump. They might dislike Trump, in fact, but they see if you let them get away with it now, they’ll never stop,” Bolling said. “They won’t stop with him. They’ll do it to anyone who disagrees with their ideas.”

That point seemed lost on leftists who lashed out at Palin, accusing her of trying to start a civil war by condemning the attacks on Trump and free speech.

“This rhetoric needs to end. This stuff is just going too far,” demanded Ed Krassenstein.

“Stop calling for civil war. Stop implying that we are on the brink of Civil War. We are not. Just Stop!” screeched Krassenstein, who along with his equally leftist twin brother, Brian, had previously been banned from Twitter “for allegedly boosting engagement with paid and fake accounts.” Before being booted from Twitter, and subsequently reinstated, Krassenstein repeatedly called for Trump’s impeachment and arrest.

Palin took him to task for grossly misrepresenting her comments and himself trying to foster discontent. “Silly little liar. WTH are you talking about? And why is @elonmusk allowing you to lie?” she tweeted.

“WHEN DID I CALL FOR CIVIL WAR?? ASKED if that’s what you Leftist whackos wanted to happen, with your lies & disruptions & division – all in the name of your attempt to fundamentally transform this country that the rest of us love. Focus, little fella, focus on what she-who-stirs-you-up-in- so-many-ways actually said.

The former vice presidential candidate also didn’t hold back criticism of the Republican National Committee for its weak sauce efforts in defending Trump against Biden’s politically weaponized interference with the 2024 election and the DOJ’s lawfare attacks on the GOP’s leading presidential contender.

“You suggested that we need to get angry. We do need to rise up and take our country back,” Palin told Bolling during Thursday’s interview. “Now, I would say about the RNC, that’s what’s lacking when it comes to collective anger that can be healthy and can be useful,” she added.

“They have the platform, and yet they’re too timid, a bunch of frickin’ RINOs running the thing,” Palin said. “So the RNC better get their stuff together, or we have to ask them too: What do they want as an outcome of this? Civil War?”
