RFK Jr. Becomes More Popular, Poll Shows

'Make no mistake—a Democrat in Independent’s clothing is still a Democrat...'

(Dmytro “Henry” AleksandrovHeadline USA) It was reported that Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a 2024 Independent presidential candidate, is becoming more popular among American voters.

A Harvard CAPS/Harris survey that was released last week indicated that Kennedy has a 19% net favorability rating over Donald Trump and Joe Biden, the Epoch Times reported.

Kennedy was favorable among 49% of voters, with 30% of people having an unfavorable opinion of him, according to the survey. Trump received a 49% favorability rating with 46% of people thinking unfavorably of him, while Biden received a 45% favorability mark with 49% of people saying that they do not him.

“Media pundits are gonna tell you that we don’t have any chance and have given me a couple of first names. One of them is a ‘long-shot candidate.’ They say my impact is only going to draw votes from the other candidates. The Democrats are frightened that I’m gonna spoil the election for President Biden and the Republicans are frightened that I’m gonna spoil it for President Trump. The truth is, they’re both right,” Kennedy said.

After Kennedy announced on Oct. 9, 2023, that he would run for president as an Independent, Republicans warned conservatives that, even though Kennedy left the Democratic party, he is still a leftist.

“Make no mistake—a Democrat in Independent’s clothing is still a Democrat. RFK Jr. cannot hide from his record of endorsing Hillary [Clinton], supporting the Green New Deal, fighting against the Keystone Pipeline and praising AOC’s [Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s, D-N.Y.] tax hikes. He is your typical elitist liberal and voters won’t be fooled,” the Republican National Committee said in its statement.

The committee then added that, to save the United States, people need to vote for a conservative candidate instead.

“American families deserve commonsense leadership that will return America’s energy independence, stop Bidenflation, secure our border and get our country back on track, which is why our Republican nominee will be the next president of the United States,” the RNC said.

Trump’s campaign also warned conservatives that Kennedy is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, adding that “voters should not be deceived by anyone who pretends to have conservative values.”

“The fact is RFK has a disturbing background steeped in radical, liberal positions. Whether he’s a China sympathizer, denigrating gun owners, promoting business-killing green policies or supporting on-demand abortion, an RFK candidacy is nothing more than a vanity project for a liberal Kennedy looking to cash in on his family’s name,” Trump’s campaign said.
