‘Rat’s *ss’: Liz Cheney Ridiculed after Latest Trump Claim, Book Tour

'Liz Cheney was an undistinguished, nepotistic, legacy hire...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) Disgraced former Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., faced a barrage of criticism and ridicule from Republicans on social media following her latest interview where she labeled former President Donald Trump as a threat to democracy.

From being derided as a “rat’s ass” to being labeled a member of the “Uniparty,” conservative critics on Twitter showed no mercy toward the embattled lawmaker, who was ousted in a primary challenge in 2022.

Political commentator Glenn Greenwald remarked, “Liz Cheney lost her seat by 36 points. She was only elected in the first place because of her dad. Yet corporate media can’t get enough. They treat like a wise, vital statesman for one reason: she hates Trump. That’s all it takes.”

Conservative influencer Juanita Broaddrick vehemently criticized Cheney in a fiery Twitter post, stating, “Nobody gives a rat’s ass what this disgustingly corrupt and rotten to the core loser has to say.”

This wave of criticism followed Cheney’s comments on CBS News’s Sunday Morning, where she portrayed Trump as an “existential crisis” looming over the 2024 presidential election.

“We’re facing a situation with respect to the 2024 election, where it’s an existential crisis,” she said while promoting her book. “We have to ensure that we don’t have a situation where an election that might be thrown into the House of Representatives is overseen by a Republican majority.”

Cheney, an anti-Trump figure, is currently on a tour promoting her book Oath and Honor, where she takes aim at Republicans for their support of Trump.

However, the backlash against Cheney was resounding, with commentator Gunther Eagleman saying, “Liz Cheney is irrelevant.”

Photographer Cruadin added, “Liz Cheney was an undistinguished, nepotistic, legacy hire. She was given a lifetime sinecure in a state in which her family vacationed. She was ejected from that safe, cushy gig by a historic margin for being grotesquely unappealing.”

Even Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-.S.C., weighed in by suggesting that President Joe Biden poses a greater threat to democracy than Trump.

Graham cautioned that if Biden is re-elected president, “we won’t recognize America and the world will be truly on fire.”

“I think a continuation of the Biden presidency would be a disaster for peace and prosperity at home and abroad,” Graham asserted during an interview with CNN. “Our border is broken; the only person really going to fix our broken border is Donald Trump.”
