Pompeo Warns that China Trying to Infect World w/ New COVID Variant

'There is no reason we should allow the Chinese to do this again... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned Americans that the Chinese may be trying to spread a new COVID variant across the world, the Daily Mail reported.

Pompeo’s warning comes after China’s embattled President Xi Jinping lifted travel restrictions out of the nation despite continuing to subject his subjects to draconian COVID lockdowns.

The former Secretary of State noted that Xi made the move despite mass infections spreading throughout China.

“It sounds like we might have as many as 1 million Chinese people infected. Fifty percent of their population traveling,’ Pompeo told Cats Roundtable in an interview last weekend.

“There is no reason we should allow the Chinese to do this again, to send Chinese-infected persons around the world, knowingly infecting people all across the globe,” he added.

Per Pompeo, America has no obligation to allow the Chinese to once again create a spiritual, political and economic disaster because of their own negligence or ill will.

“Xi got away with this once,” he said. “I regret he wasn’t held accountable. We should still do that for the 6 million people who died between the spring of 2020 and today.”

Pompeo then called upon U.S. and global leaders to restrict or altogether shut down travel in and out of China.

“But he’s doing it again. Just as in the spring of 2020 [when] he sent people around the world he knew were infected, he’s doing the same darn thing again,” he noted.

“He’s going to infect millions more. We shouldn’t let that happen.”

But despite Jinping’s irresponsible policies, President Joe Biden and his administration have done almost nothing to slow the spread of the disease that concerned them deeply back in 2020.

In fact, Biden has openly praised Xi, calling him “very tough” and “very bright”.
