Pompeo Names Teachers Union Chieftain ‘Most Dangerous Person in the World’

'It’s not a close call... '

(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, a Republican, on Monday called a far-Left teachers’ union president “the most dangerous person in the world,” HuffPost reported.

“I tell the story often — I get asked, ‘Who’s the most dangerous person in the world? Is it Chairman Kim, is it Xi Jinping?’ The most dangerous person in the world is Randi Weingarten,” Pompeo said about the American Federation of Teachers president.

Pompeo echoed a traditional American belief that the nation’s destruction will come from within itself, not from a foreign power.

“It’s not a close call,” he said. “If you ask, ‘Who’s the most likely to take this republic down?’ It would be the teacher’s unions, and the filth that they’re teaching our kids, and the fact that they don’t know math and reading or writing.”

Weingarten could not believe someone would disrespect an educator and union president who promotes queer books and radical LGBT ideology in elementary school classrooms.

“I know that Mike Pompeo is running for president, and frankly, I don’t know whether to characterize his characterization … as ridiculous or dangerous,” she tweeted.

She said Pompeo’s statement helps “the Middle East’s tyrants” and harms Ukraine by refusing to call Russian President Vladimir Putin the world’s greatest threat.

The LGBT activist and grooming-material advocate said Pompeo wants to stand out among the confirmed and potential 2024 Republican presidential candidates, which include former President Donald Trump, former Vice President Mike Pence and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

She said Pompeo is “desperate to be labeled as the extremist.” in the primary election.

“He needs to fund his campaign,” Weingarten told The Hill. “He doesn’t have a base so he is trying to get millions from the anti-union, anti-public-education billionaires like Betsy DeVos.”
