Pelosi Demands More Cheerleading from Media

'Well, I think you all could do a better job of selling it, to be very frank with you...'

The hard-left mainstream media has made it shamelessly clear it has no problem carrying the water to advance Democrats’ radical agendas.

But the cheerleading needs to improve, according to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., who chided the media last week for not properly promoting the Biden administration’s agenda and its accompanying prolific spending.

Asked whether Democrats have failed to convince the public that the proposed massive social- and climate- spending spree is necessary, Pelosi cracked the whip, reported National Review.

“Well, I think you all could do a better job of selling it, to be very frank with you,” Pelosi groused, “because every time I come here I go through the list: medical leave, climate, the issues that are in there.”

Pelosi and other leftists of her ilk just naturally assume that the sheeple reporting their wisdom are as impressed with the brilliance as they are.

And sure enough, instead of ensuing media outrage at Pelosi’s chastisement, the press conference moved right along to the next Democrat talking point.

That should come as no surprise when mainstream media darlings like Katie Couric no longer even pretend to care about being caught hiding their bias, but openly brag about surreptitiously pushing their radical agendas and leftist ideologies on an unsuspecting public.

Katie Couric has admitted to ‘protecting’ Ruth Bader Ginsburg from public backlash by cutting out negative comments she made about people who kneel during the national anthem, reported the Daily Mail:

The former Today show host revealed in her new book that she let her personal political views influence her editing decisions after her interview with the late Supreme Court justice in 2016.

In her new memoir, Going There, Couric wrote that she edited out a part where Ginsburg said that those who kneel during the national anthem are showing ‘contempt for a government that has made it possible for their parents and grandparents to live a decent life.’

If a voice from conservative media admitted to covertly editing supposedly straight news to fit a personal agenda, that voice would be swiftly, harshly and roundly denounced by the leftist media. But when a like-minded journo cops to the same?

Crickets.

CNN’s alleged media reporter Brian Stelter, while aware of Couric’s transgression, conveniently left out any reference to it in his Reliable Sources newsletter.

Stelter made no mention of the bombshell admission despite alleging to cover the journalism industry, Fox News reported.

While ignoring the Couric story, Stelter managed to find room for everything from a new CNN poll that shows most Democrats are in favor of a larger spending bill to “uproar” inside Netflix over the latest Dave Chappelle comedy special.

Is it any wonder why Pelosi has no hesitation whipping the media into lockstep agreement with and promotion of the Democrat agenda?
