Obama AG Who Incited St. Louis Riots Calls for Trump’s J6 Accountability

'Well, I think there’s going to be sufficient factual information... '

(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) Attorney General Eric Holder, who incited violence in Ferguson in 2014, said the Justice Department must hold former President Donald Trump “accountable” for the Jan. 6, 2021, protest at the Capitol, Breitbart reported.

“And here’s my prediction, at some point, people at the Justice Department, perhaps that prosecutor in Atlanta, are going to have to make a determination about whether or not they want to indict Donald Trump,” Holder told “Face the Nation.”

Holder was asked if he thought Attorney General Merrick Garland has been active enough in filing charges against J6 political prisoners, Trump, and members of his administration.

Holder said he cannot answer that until Garland announces his decision to indict or refrain from indicting Trump, but he indicated that he would file charges against Trump if he were still in office.

“Well, I think there’s going to be sufficient factual information,” he said. “And I think that there’s going to be sufficient proof of intent.”

Holder did not outline the crimes that Trump committed, though the constant “insurrection” refrain suggests that he would charge him with treason.

Then Holder, who relentlessly undermines elections and the rule of law in America, said he would have to account for the effect of Trump’s indictment on the nation’s stability.

“And then the question becomes, what’s the impact of such an indictment. I’m an institutionalist,” Holder said.

“My initial thought was not to indict the former president out of concern of … how divisive it would be.”

After police officer Darren Wilson shot and killed Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014, Holder visited the scene and stomped his feet on the scales of justice.

“The full resources of the Department of Justice are being committed to our federal civil rights investigation into the death of Michael Brown,” Holder said.

Senior executive branch officials do not inject themselves into suburban shootings, unless they want to see the Justice Department reach a certain conclusion. Holder effectively promised the rioters that Wilson would be found guilty of murder and an anti-black hate crime, but a grand jury refused to charge him.

The contrast between Holder’s promise and the grand jury’s decision led to widespread rioting and looting, at least one death, and hundreds of arrests.
