NEW: Obama’s FBI Reportedly Linked to Biden Bribery Scheme

'We know the FBI has very serious allegations against then-Vice President Biden...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) The FBI whistleblower who raised the alarm about the bureau’s failure to investigate an alleged bribery scheme involving President Joe Biden is a “highly credible” informant who reportedly had been used in several investigations by the Obama administration and the FBI.

This new revelation, first published by Fox News, directly debunks several claims from Democrat officials who dismissed the Republican-led allegations against Biden when he served as President Hussein Barack Obama’s vice president.

Citing a source close to the investigation, Fox News reported that the confidential human source has been used for “at least several years” before an FBI file was created detailing the criminal plot.

The whistleblower brought their concerns to Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., accusing the FBI of ignoring an FD-1023 informant file that reportedly detailed a criminal scheme involving a foreign national and Biden. The identify of the foreign national remains unknown.

“We know the FBI has very serious allegations against then-Vice President Biden. The question is what did they do with it. Did they investigate the leads or sweep it under the rug?” a spokesperson for Grassley’s office told Fox News in response to the report. “This is exactly why we need transparency into the document and what the FBI did with it? That’s what Sen. Grassley has sought from the start.”

The file, dated June 30, 2020, and detailing a criminal plot worth $5 million, has become the subject of a political fight between congressional Republicans and FBI Director Christopher Wray, who has refused on several occasions to release the document to the House Oversight Committee.

Wray’s inexplicable refusal has led Comer to prepare contempt of Congress charges against the embattled FBI director.

In response to the looming contempt charges, Wray attempted to appease Comer by allowing him and Democrats to review the document behind closed doors. However, both Comer and Grassley rejected the offer, insisting that the file should be made public.

“Today, FBI Director Wray confirmed the existence of the FD-1023 form alleging then-Vice President Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national,” Comer said on Wednesday in response to the offer. “However, Director Wray did not commit to producing the documents subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee.”

Both Comer and Grassley have defended their congressional oversight authority in seeking the document.
