NASA Goes Nude to Attract Aliens

'Life moves on because it's able to reproduce itself... '

(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) In 1972, NASA’s Apollo program put two men on the moon.

In 2022, NASA scientists plan to launch digitized images of a naked man and woman into space in order to attract the attention of aliens, the Houston Chronicle reported.

The “binary-coded” message will seek to establish a “universal means of communication” using “basic mathematical and physical concepts,” and would — perhaps imprudently — transmit Earth’s vital statistics to potentially hostile life-forms.

“Though the concept of mathematics in human terms is potentially unrecognizable to ETI [extraterrestrial intelligent], binary is likely universal across all intelligence,” the proposal’s authors wrote.

“Binary should be universal . . . because our consciousness is formed by many yes and nos, on or offs,” co-author Jonathan Jiang of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory told FOX-13.

“Consciousness is millions of yes or no put together,” Jiang continued.

The message will conclude with digitized images of all-too-binary male and female human forms and a plea that extraterrestrials “swipe right” in response.

Jiang gave a decidedly non-woke response when asked about the images.

“The definition of life is reproduction,” Jiang said. “Life moves on because it’s able to reproduce itself.”

The Beacon in the Galaxy project includes an array of international scientists, and “is not a NASA” initiative, FOX-13 reported.

“This project, for me personally, is one of more than 20 years,” Jiang said.

According to the proposal, the images will likely be transmitted using the Aperture Spherical radio Telescope in southwest China, and will be projected to “a selected region of the Milky Way which has been proposed as the most likely for life to have developed.”

The message will include a map of the solar system, including the location of Earth and a description of its characteristics, DNA structure, and a variety of mathematical concepts that would help aliens communicate.
