Morgan Wallen Posts ‘Thank You’ to Fans After Defeating Cancel Culture

'Thank you to everyone who believed in me and continued to believe in me, even when it wasn’t the popular thing to do... '

Following the unexpected success of his 2021 album, recently culture cancelled country singer Morgan Wallen posted to social media thanking his fans for their support, The Daily Wire reported.

“I could write a book on 2021,” Wallen wrote in an Instagram post. “And I probably will one day. But for now, I wanna say thank you.”

“Thank you to everyone who believed in me and continued to believe in me, even when it wasn’t the popular thing to do,” the country star continued. “Thank you to my family, my band, my friends, and my fans for having my back and sticking up for me when so many were coming for me. I hope my heart has shown through the noise.”

“I go into 2022 feeling inspired and free,” Wallen wrote. “Inspired to create from the heart and free to share those creations with you guys. I’m so proud of how far we’ve come together. I still feel like this is just the beginning.”

Wallen closed the post, “God bless y’all let’s crush this year.”

Wallen’s album, “Dangerous: The Double Album,” was released a month before he was secretly recorded drunkenly calling his friend the n-word.

Despite his immediate efforts to appease the mob by publicly apologizing and pledging $500,000 to black charities, Wallen was dropped from his record label, taken off the radio and uninvited to several award shows in which he had been nominated.

But, all press is good press as they say, and Wallen’s album was the top seller of 2021.

With over 3 million copies sold, Wallen outsold other expected high-performers such as Olivia Rodrigo’s “Sour” EP, Adele’s “30,” and Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy.”
