(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Oklahoma Democratic congressional candidate Abby Broyles has issued an apology for getting hammered and drunkenly berating a group of middle-school girls, Louder with Crowder reported.
Broyles was reportedly invited by a friend to “have a drink” while her daughter was having a Valentine’s Day slumber party with seven other girls.
Over the course of the evening, she became inebriated enough to throw up in a laundry basket and on a girls shoe—but only after launching “a profanity-laced tirade” at the 12- and 13-year-olds, calling one “acne f**ker,” another “Hispanic f**ker,” and finally “judgy f**ker,” bringing them to tears.
Broyles initially denied she was at the party, but she confessed when pressed.
The Oklahoma candidate attributes the outburst to mixing a sleeping pill, which was given to her by her friend, with sushi and wine.
“Instead of helping me sleep, I hallucinated. I don’t remember anything until I woke up or came to, and I was throwing up in a hamper,” said Broyles.
Broyles’s friend, who hosted the party, confirmed Broyles’ presence and that she was given a sleeping pill.
Her friend also said the incident was “of the kind of magnitude that [she] needed to make phone calls to every parent [of the children in attendance] the next day to discuss one-on-one.”
“I want to say sorry from the bottom of my heart,” Broyles said in a radio interview. “I apologize for any damage or trauma that my behavior, when I didn’t know what I was doing, caused.”
She stated that she didn’t believe she had a problem with alcohol.
The parents of the young girls who were in attendance were not pleased with a simple apology via the press.

For someone who pontificates to be undyingly pro woman, I am disgusted by your behavior and find it appalling you couldn’t understand why their parents are angry. Your vile, cruel, and bigoted behavior should not be excused or ‘swept under the rug’. 2/4

Broyles, who is vying to unseat GOP incumbent Stephanie Bice in Oklahoma’s 5th Congressional District, will continue with her campaign.
It has not been confirmed if Broyles has agreed to replace the girl’s shoes as of this writing.
